Kindness Yoga Shuts Down Nine Studios Thanks to Social Media Outrage

Patrick Harrington, owner of Kindness Yoga, closed down nine studios.

The closures came after receiving complaints from a number of Black and transgender yoga instructors. One of their major complaints came from inconsistent responses by the HR. Harrington, living in Costa Rica, admits to becoming “disconnected” from the concerns of his team.

Protect Black Authorship or Face the Wrath of Liberal Cancel Mob?

Carlin Romano, Professor at the  University of Pennsylvania and a member of the National Books Critics Circle Board, is facing pressures to resign after emailing his concerns concerning the wording of a statement in support of BLM.

The NBCC sought to make a statement in reaction to recent calls for social justice. The statement offers some strong claims. For instance, white publishers must acknowledge their “culpability in this system of erasure.”

Meteorologist Cliff Mass Fired From NPR Affiliate For Blog Post Critical of CHAZ

Cliff Mass, Professor of Atmospheric Science at Washington University, lost his job for blog posts. To clarify, he wasn’t fired from his teaching job. He was fired from his moonlighting gig at an NPR affiliate.

Mass worked part time as a weatherman on KNKX (NPR affiliate). Known for making controversial statements, he underestimated the power of CHAZ.

JK Rowling’s Written Essay Criticizing Trans-Activists is Worth Reading

Recently, JK Rowling stood up against an overly aggressive group of trans-activists. The beef started after Rowlings liked a few Twitter posts deemed insensitive to those who identify as Transgender. But the cancel mob went absolutely bonkers when she did not apologize. The trigger moment happened when Rowling’s made fun of the phrase, “people who menstruate.”

UCLA Professor Gordon Klein Becomes Victim of Outrage Mob After Not Giving Special Treatment for Black Students

Shortly after George Floyd’s death, a student of UCLA’s Management 127 class e-mailed their professor, Gordon Klein, requesting special consideration be given to black students in the class. The special consideration includes “no-harm” grading on the final exam. The e-mail also asked for shorter exams and extended deadlines for black students who attended the George Floyd protests.
