Midfielder for the LA Galaxy Fired For Wife’s Twitter Rant.

Aleksandar Katai met the chopping block after Tea Katai, his wife, went on a twitter tirade. In her post, she condemned Black Lives Matter calling them “disgusting cattle” and called for the killing of protestors .

LA Galaxy immediatly fired Katai, a free-agent, from the team. In response, Katai offers his own condemnation over the comments made by his wife.

Stockwell Day Apologizes After Rejecting Claims that Canada is Racist

Stockwell Day, former cabinet member of Stephen Harper in the Canadian government, received backlash for comments made during Power and Politics. On the program, Day argued, “Canadians are not racist. And our system… is not systematically racist.”

In response to the outrage, Day tweeted. “I ask forgiveness for wrongly equating my experiences to theirs. I commit to them my unending efforts to fight racism in all its forms,”

Stan Wischnowski, Former Editor for the Philadelphia Inquirer, Resigns after Backlash for Publishing “Buildings Matter, Too” Article.

After publishing Inga Saffron’s “Buildings Matter, Too,” article in the Philadelphia Inquirer, Stan Wischnowski faced backlash online and around his workplace.

The editors quickly distanced themselves from Wischnowski. The editors revised the headline and offered a public apology issued.

Hachette UK Draws a Line in the Sand, Defending JK Rowling

Trans-activists labeled JK Rowling as “transphobic” due to her comments on social media. In response, some who work for Hachette publishing, her publisher, to end her contract. In response, Hachette replied.

“We fundamentally believe that everyone has the right to express their own thoughts and beliefs. That’s why we never comment on our authors’ personal views and we respect our employees’ right to hold a different view,”

Church of the Highlands Loses Leases After Head Pastor Likes Conservative Tweets

The City of Birmingham Alabama revoked the rental leases of the Church of the Highlands due to the social media activity of its lead pastor Chris Hodges. Ps. Hodges who liked various posts from Turning Point USA.

Overall, this megachurch rented school buildings from Birmingham City School to hold Sunday services along with community outreach. Part of the free services offered through these rented facilities include free covid-19 testing for residents in Birmingham’s public housing.

Grant Napear was a play by play announcer for KHTK station. In response to DeMarcus Cousins question about BLM, Napear tweeted “All Lives Matter… Every Single One!” A strong public outcry ensued.

Napear quickly offered a formal apology on Twitter.

Chicago Principal Under Fire for Denouncing Violence During George Floyd Protests

Joyce Kenner, principal of Chicago’s Whitney Young High School, refused to leave her position after calls for her to step down for her condemnation of rioting in the city.

She called for students to avoid participating in violent acts during George Floyd protests. Nevertheless, she also voiced support for students participating in peaceful demonstrations. Kenner was an active participant in the Civil Rights Movement as a worker for the Rainbow PUSH Coalition.
