Trans-activists labeled JK Rowling as “transphobic” due to her comments on social media. In response, some who work for Hachette publishing, her publisher, to end her contract. In response, Hachette replied.

Church of the Highlands Loses Leases After Head Pastor Likes Conservative Tweets

The City of Birmingham Alabama revoked the rental leases of the Church of the Highlands due to the social media activity of its lead pastor Chris Hodges. Ps. Hodges who liked various posts from Turning Point USA.

Overall, this megachurch rented school buildings from Birmingham City School to hold Sunday services along with community outreach. Part of the free services offered through these rented facilities include free covid-19 testing for residents in Birmingham’s public housing.

Sacramento Kings Play-By-Play Announcer Fired after Tweeting “ALL LIVES MATTER…EVERY SINGLE ONE!!!”

Grant Napear was a play by play announcer for KHTK station. In response to DeMarcus Cousins question about BLM, Napear tweeted “All Lives Matter… Every Single One!” A strong public outcry ensued.

Napear quickly offered a formal apology on Twitter.

Chicago Principal Under Fire for Denouncing Violence During George Floyd Protests

Joyce Kenner, principal of Chicago’s Whitney Young High School, refused to leave her position after calls for her to step down for her condemnation of rioting in the city.

She called for students to avoid participating in violent acts during George Floyd protests. Nevertheless, she also voiced support for students participating in peaceful demonstrations. Kenner was an active participant in the Civil Rights Movement as a worker for the Rainbow PUSH Coalition.

Relatives of Auntie Jemima Brand Fight Corporate Attempt to Placate Cancel Mob

Quaker Oats announced the retirement of the “Aunt Jemima” maple syrup logo by the end of 2020. This brand, used since 1889, has come under criticism for its association with Minstrel show stereotypes. The families who have benefited from their relatives’ participation in the brand are currently challenging this decision.
